Garlic Scape Compound Butter

This super easy, three ingredient compound butter is the perfect addition to whipping up steak at home! 
Total Time 32 minutes
Servings 1 pound

Ingredients

  • 4 sticks butter 1 pound, softened
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh garlic scapes

Instructions

  • Using a hand or stand mixer, whip softened butter until fluffy, about 1-2 minutes. 
  • Add chopped garlic scapes and olive oil to a food processor and mix very minced. 
  • Add garlic scape mixture to whipped butter and mix until fully combined and evenly distributed. 
  • Scrape butter onto parchment paper and form into block. Completely cover/wrap the butter with the parchment paper and place in fridge for at least 2 hours before using. 
  • Add a dollop to a warm steak, let melt and enjoy!
