The best caramel for apples.

We were gifted this delicious caramel dip from Litehouse and it’s quite tasty. I do love a good homemade caramel sauce, but honestly semi-homemade is the real MVP when you need a quick dessert.

Caramel apple shapes that aren’t apples.

I mean, what is cuter than a themed dessert? We opted for bat apples because, hello Halloween. But, these would also be great ideas for other adorable and festive caramel apples.

  • Hearts. These would be perfect for Valentine’s Day! Also, snag these cute sprinkles.
  • Reindeer. Surprise everyone this Christmas with Rudolph caramel apples. Topped with these perfect sprinkles.
  • Four Leaf Clovers. St. Patty’s Day, yes please. Top with these!

Ingredients for semi-homemade caramel apples.

Caramel apples take minimal ingredients. Here is all you need!

  • Caramel Dip.
  • Sticks.
  • Apples.
  • Sprinkles.

A few of our other favorite caramel and apple recipes.

  • Homemade Apple Pie Latte. This tasty coffee latte is like fall in a cup. You just need a few ingredients to basically be a homemade barista.
  • Boozy Salted Caramel Apple Cider. Make apple cider even better by adding some booze. Perfect for the impending holidays.
  • Duck Tacos with Crunchy Apple Slaw. This crunchy apple slaw is so perfect on top of these tacos.
