I love banana bread so much. We literally have three recipes for banana bread on the blog. Find those here, and right here. Sometimes I buy bananas and let them turn brown just to make banana bread. But, you can always have more recipes for banana bread. Right? That’s what I’m telling myself.

Plus, these are banana bread muffins with chocolate chips so it’s totally different.

Baby O won’t eat bananas in their whole form but you better believe she loves these muffins. She kept sneaking them off the counter when I was looking. While she prefers them as is, I love to slather warm butter on them – SO good.

Joel hates bananas in all forms, so luckily I only had to share these chocolate chip banana bread muffins with one family member. Well, two if you include Henry, our giant cat, trying to steal our muffins from us.

I wouldn’t argue that these are super healthy banana bread muffins but they aren’t super unhealthy. I mean, they do have fruit – so that’s good, right?

If you are looking for vegan banana bread muffins or something that errs on the healthier side, here are a few recipes from some of our favorite fellow bloggers. Take a look at some of their other recipes too, they’re pretty fantastic.

  • Vegan Banana Bread (The Baking Fairy)
  • Healthy Banana Bread (What Molly Made)
