We are all about easy meals in the Lewis Household and usually those easy meals include pasta! Luckily, our friends at Moms Meet sent us some of Barilla’s Creamy Pesto Genovese and it was the perfect dinnertime hack for an easy dinner the whole family loves.

All you need to make a simple dinner for the whole family is these few items.

  • Barilla Creamy Pesto Genovese
  • Barilla Pasta (we love the bronze cut variety!)
  • Chicken (grilled or crispy)

That’s it! I told you this was a super easy recipe. Here’s all you need to do to whip it up.

  • Cook your pasta according to package instructions.
  • Prepare your chicken.
  • Add pasta, chicken, and pesto to a large pan and mix together over medium heat.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Now the real star of the show is the Barilla Creamy Pesto Genovese. This little jar packs a TON of flavor and isn’t just for pasta, even though that’s a great way to enjoy this delicious product. Here are a few additional ways to enjoy it.

  • Using in a grilled cheese, caprese style, with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. You could even use fresh basil for a little bit of extra freshness.
  • Marinate chicken and/or veggies for kabobs and serve alongside some rice.
  • Eat it straight from the jar as a dip with your favorite crackers or hearty veggies like bell peppers or cucumbers.
  • Drizzle or dip on pizza, or even use it as the “sauce” and top with cheese and your other favorite toppings.

I knew we were going to love this Barilla Creamy Pesto Genovese when we opened the jar because it smelled incredible and looked beautiful. To preserve the natural color of basil and the fresh aroma of Italian Cheese, Barilla minimizes the handling of ingredients and rapidly prepares their recipe in as little as three hours from the start of ingredient preparation to the tightening of the lid.

You can pick up a jar for around $3.29 at your favorite grocery store! Let us know how you use this yummy little product!
