These homemade strawberry margaritas are made with delicious and fresh ingredients, some you can even snag from your garden! They are perfect in a pitcher or a single glass.

The Simplest and Freshest Strawberry Basil Margarita

I love a good, fresh, and easy margarita. The ones with loads of sour mix make my face pucker and my stomach hurt. These easy strawberry basil margaritas have 4 ingredients (+ice) and are smooth enough to drink all night long.

All you need is:

  • Simply Limeade
  • Strawberries
  • Basil
  • Tequila

Where I Found Inspiration for this Margarita Recipe

I found my inspiration for this recipe over here on The Kitchn. They use frozen limeade concentrate which would probably be amazing too! I also want to try these bad boys frozen in a blender. I think I’ll save that one for the suuuper toasty days in Ohio.

Having The Freshest Ingredients Available At Home

I actually have both strawberries and basil growing in my patio garden, so here’s hoping I can make easy margaritas super fresh this summer! A coworker of mine lives in California and she has a lime tree, so if I just teed up with her – we’d be set!

Luckily it’s spring right now, so we can have some fresh herbs outside. But, during the other 9 months when we are stuck indoors – we use an Aerogarden to get all the fresh herbs. You can buy the one we have right over here on Amazon.

These strawberry basil margaritas are seriously going to be a staple this summer. Do you have a favorite margarita flavor? Let us know in the comments below!
